SMITH Lowdown 2 Black Blue

I have numerous pair of Smith's, and I try to cover the lens options so I have ones for many conditions. This is my first pair of bronze mirror. I have the Lowdown 2 in brown glass as well, and wanted something a little lighter (weight and tint). These cover that and have been great so far in my first week of wearing. We've had overcast conditions and they are dark enough for sunny, but allow enough light in that they work well in cloudier conditions. I'm very pleased with this frame and lens combo.

Great wear around glasses. Lightweight with more light than my three other pairs of Smith's. Guides Choice, Redding, and now the Lowdown. Very happy with my choice. Or should I say my fourth choice because I have 4 pair!! Thanks

Like the fit, however, they are not as robust as the Redmond model. Wish I could have ordered Redmond.

This is my third or fourth pair of lowdown's, I've had the originals the metals and everything in-between. there are fantastic glasses. i recently tried the photochromatic lenses and they are awesome i got the brown lens and while they function as told personally i don't love the look of the brown lens (you can see your eyes so pictures with them on look goofy) is my only complaint and its a personal complaint. What happens when you buy online and cant try them on. still love them and will continue to wear them everyday

Love the fit! The photochromatic lenses are a little lighter than I would have expected but they are really nice.

Love the lenses, lightweight frames, fit and style. Photocromatic lenses work well and rarely need to take them off. Sadly the smith bag/lens cleaner is terribly cheap. Drawstrings do not hold and the glasses fall out onto the dirt or pavement and land, catlike, on the lenses. Please product team do better and come up with a more protective storage solution that isn't focused on cost reduction and product margins. All in, good glasses, disappointing storage.

I've had my Smith Lowdown 2s with ChromaPop Polarized lenses for a few months now, and they've quickly become my go-to pair. The frame is lightweight, fits comfortably all day, and looks great without trying too hard. But the real star is the ChromaPop lenses -- they seriously enhance color and contrast. Everything looks sharper, and the glare reduction is fantastic, especially when driving or spending time near water. I went with the brown polarized lenses, and they work well in bright sun and partly cloudy conditions. They make greens and blues pop in a way that's noticeable but natural. I've worn a lot of sunglasses over the years, and these are easily among the best in terms of clarity and comfort. Highly recommend if you're looking for stylish, high-quality shades with excellent optics. Just take care of the lenses -- they're not scratch-proof, but with a case and a little care, they hold up great.

Love how light these are. You don't even know you have them on most of the time. Have multiple pairs of Smith sunglasses now and it's hard to pick a favorite!

These frames are my favorite and offer the most comfort to wear all day all occasions. They are high quality eyewear and are built to last. I will definitely buy another set of lowdown 2!

3rd pair of lowdown 2s. Absolutely love these glasses! They fit so well and the quality is great.

Amazing lenses and glasses. Look amazing on, great pad on nose bridge so they don’t slip. They are a tad snug fitting on my average sized head, not too tight though.

Got a used pair sent to me. I cleaned one side, but that was a lot of work. The arms have a lot of play before they catch and tighten.

Smith makes an amazing pair of sunglasses, and these check all the boxes. Polarized lenses are amazing, and the look of these is sensational.

Nice and comfortable. The prices are crazy though. In Europe, you'd find an equivalent or better pair for no more than $40 CAD. Maybe Smith should drop their prices, or at least start making their shades in North America.

These are my new favorite sunglasses. Awesome lenses. Great finish on the frames. Incredibly comfortable and super light weight. Will never wear my oakleys again when I’m out doing anything physical. They are great for running, hiking, kayaking and shooting
