The new glasses are great, I had a nose piece get broken on a pair that I have had for a few years and customer service was helpful and had a strait forward return policy that took a total of one week to replace. I am happy

Man these have been my go to for a couple years now, from rock climbing, sailing, even working as an arborist. Theses glasses have held up, I wore these about everyday working, dropping them from the tops of trees, branches hitting them, constant aerial debris and they held up. However I keep losing them

The best sunglasses I own. The lenses are superior to Oakley and Ray Ban. Direct sunlight for these bad boys are nothing

These are the best sunglasses I've ever owned. The XL size is perfect for me and I like the matte tortoise texture bc it doesn't slide down my face when I'm sweaty. The polarization is top notch and the lenses don't scratch easily. You can tell they're good quality in every detail. I've had them for over 6 years now and they're still going strong. 10/10.

The Lowdown 2 is a bit tighter fit than the original Lowdown but that works perfect for me. Why I took away the 1 star was because i purchased Matte Black + ChromaPop Glass Polarized Black Lens, but the lens actually has a BLUE tint when looking through it so its not an actual black lens.

Love the glasses themselves, the lenses could be a bit darker. I'm not a fan of being able to see my eyes but man are they clear!!

Love the glasses and the chromapop is great. My only issue I have with them is the description says VLT 10-66%. In my opinion that isn't correct. I've been wearing 14VLT glasses for the past 2 years and even in direct sunlight the photochromic lenses don't get close to the level of darkness my other ones did. My eyes are sensitive and these are great for cloudy days but aren't dark enough for bright sunny days.

Need an option for the bronze or gold lens with black or tortoise frames.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE GOLD LENS AND BLACK FRAME, PLEASE!!

I bought these for my wife as she loves Smith for their looks, value and durability. She looks great in them and that makes her happy and if she's happy, I'm happy.

These are great glasses, Lowdown XL 2 mate grey marble. Wow. They fit just as specified, the lenses are large but that's what I was looking for. It reminds me of the 70's-80's large style glasses they used to wear but with a modern frame style. The pattern which it's very cool is more of a dabbed sponge impression rather than marble veins. Matte grey frame with matte black dabs. Not too showy until you see them up close. Super light weight. Otherwise the lenses are outstanding. Great glasses I will probably buy a back up.

I have a Smith Optics Wayward and needed a new one. This seemed like a great option. Glasses look stunning. but the shape and size make it less for me.1st picture has the Wayward on the left, lowdown on the right and it's significant bigger2nd picture shows the wayward being more curved, and leave less of an opening on the side compared to the straight frame of the lowdown ( right )3rd pictures shows the great chromapop and the lighter Bottom versus darker top of the glasses on the lowdown ( right )

Great warranty program

I bought these because I have a wide face and need bigger frames so they don't pinch my temples when I put them on.These fit decently.I had to adjust them when they arrived but they fit fine now.They are pretty expensive even when compared to other premium brands being around a 200 dollar price point.They're my everyday frames though for now.Tad pricey for what you get in my opinion as they don't even come with a hard case at that price.Smith could do better.

The fit and comfort of the SMITH helmet is excellent. I highly recommend SMITH products.

Chose these from a lineup of the more “popular” brands for fishing and beach days. The lenses were clearer than the competition and allowed me to see through the water more easily when targeting fish inshore. The nose pads sealed the deal. Very comfortable all day on the water. My only negative is that they’re a pain to keep clean in the salt air and sweat.

True to the name, colors do "pop". Perhaps not as much as the advertising would lead you to think, but the effect is there, and I do like the effect. Overall width is not as much as some other XL sunglasses, but they are definitely bigger than average. I would call them "large", instead of "XL". Just be aware that these sunglasses do not block as much visible light as most other reasonably dark sunglasses. Overall though, I am happy with them.

Really big fit for an average size face. I’ll order the regular size next time because there is an inner lens glare from to much peripheral space . Lens are great in the bright sun and bright reflective cloudy days. Not so good in the heavy overcast days. The polarization is good when looking at the sky and ocean.

This is my fifth pair... I wear these daily and beat them up; I’m a farmer. They last about a year of sweaty grimy torture on my face, crammed in my pockets, or tossed in a bag. I’ve accidentally run over a pair with my truck (I had to wear them a little crooked until I was due for my new pair!). The lenses hold up with hardly any scratches... oh, and they REALLY make the world more beautiful. No kidding, these lenses make vision better.

Ottimi occhiali , belli grandi, più voluminosi dei classici wayfarer a cui si ispirano.Per il resto stanno bene , si indossano bene e non scivolano sul naso come altri occhiali .Unica pecca: in base alla foto avevo capito montassero le lenti gray green chromapop polarizzate , invece sono semplicemente polarizzate e nere , problema relativo , comunque buone lenti.
